Welcome to our website. Latin America is a center of culture, art, nature and gastronomy. This last part encompasses cuisine, a reflection of history, wealth and customs. This is why the next web page will focus on Latin American cuisine symbolism, its cultural significance, and how it has helped develop the context of each country and lifestyle.
Talking about the particular case of Latin American cuisine (despite its link to the concept of food), it is one of the most fascinating because of its millions of rich tastes and odours , which together build the roots of each of its countries. It can be taken as a scoop or window for each country with its tradition and cultural background; they have created in each individual characteristics and connections with the environment around them. Moreover, the way they obtain food resources and use them, as well as all those social and cultural phenomena that have to do with eating culinary preparations.
Future research, intends to focus on the study of gastronomic delights in Latin America, addressing those typical foods in different regions, their preparation, historical context and geography that has contributed to provide their main natural resources and therefore its gastronomy.
The reason for the research, as mentioned earlier, is based on the important role that typical food plays in each of its countries because it is a reflection of everything that represents a culture and history in one place and population. Also it is a valuable opportunity to learn more about the richness that surround us in a world full of varieties and resources. Therefore, the methodology used will be research of famous recipes of various Latin American countries, their way of preparation, and their ingredients (including their geographical location or origin connected with the historical context).
